ANZIIF to hold risk management course

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance will run a risk management course designed for mid- to senior-level brokers and other insurance professionals.

The two-day Insurance Risk Management Study Course aims to develop expertise in identifying and analysing risks, forming effective strategies to address risks and evaluating the impact on stakeholders.

Participants will be asked to analyse a case study and present their findings to a senior company director.

The course is mainly targeted at brokers but is also available for professionals including claims practitioners, underwriters, risk consultants and loss adjusters.

Institute CEO Katrina Shanks says the course will strengthen participants’ ability to assess clients’ risk profiles. “Our goal is to provide first-class education to insurance professionals, empowering them to offer quality advice and services, and therefore build the public’s confidence and trust in the industry,” she said.
