Allianz has promoted Ammon Mackie to the newly created role of GM Commercial Business Transformation.

Ben Church replaces him as Head of Broker Partnerships & Enablement, and Heath Francis takes over from Mr Church as State Distribution Manager NSW. 

Melbourne-based Mr Mackie began at Allianz almost two decades ago and spent five years with the insurer in Singapore from 2017-2022. 

“In this new role, Ammon will be focused on delivering solutions to integrate directly with broker partner platforms and developing our data strategy to enable data-driven decision making,” Allianz said. 

Sydney-based Mr Church has been at Allianz 11 years and is also an Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) Generation i Council Advisory Board Member. 

Mr Francis, also based in Sydney, has been at Allianz five years, most recently as National Relationship Manager. He formerly spent two years at both Zurich and CGU and more than eight at Lumley.
