The 360 Group of Companies says AIG Australia will become underwriter for the 360 Plant & Equipment agency from April.

“This move reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, market-leading solutions that support brokers and their clients,” 360 Underwriting Solutions co-founder and MD Denis Morrissey said today. “A diverse and stable underwriting security base is critical in today’s insurance landscape, allowing us to provide flexible, competitive and sustainable coverage.”

The business says as part of the transition, it is combining the mobile plant and machinery and civil contractors’ insurance product disclosure statements and policy wordings into a single solution.

It says the IT platform for plant and equipment will continue to operate on the Compass portal, ensuring a smooth transition with no changes to the broker experience when managing policies and submissions.

Underwriting capacity is currently provided by Allianz Australia.
