Dimitry Zilberud has joined AIG as Asia-Pacific head of marine.

Mr Zilberud, who is based in Sydney, was most recently Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance’s senior VP head of marine for the US and Australasia, according to his LinkedIn.

“Dimitry has 26 years of insurance experience, bringing a deep understanding of the region, established relationships and solid track record for driving growth,” AIG global head of marine Emma Woolley said on LinkedIn.

Asia-Pacific regional president Chris Colahan welcomed Mr Zilberud to the team and said he was excited to see what “you can do with AIG’s platform in the region, and the solutions you’ll create for clients and distribution partners”.
