360 Underwriting Solutions is rebranding Sura Plant & Equipment effective from next Tuesday following an integration period over the past year.

The rebranded 360 Plant & Equipment will continue to be led by Frank Solano, who says the current servicing teams won’t change, but the business has been bolstered by additional experienced underwriters and IT enhancements.

Brokers will be provided with an online solution with the launching of the plant and equipment business on the 360 Compass web portal, built by eSentry Technologies. Policies will continue to be backed by Allianz.

AUB Group invested in 360 Underwriting Solutions in 2020 and announced as part of a restructuring that the Sura Plant & Equipment business would move under a new General Commercial Underwriting Division within the 360 group.

360 says over the past year it has focused on integrating the business and has been bedding down the renewal portfolios, establishing a platform for future growth, and developing an IT solution.

“We are excited to take the next steps to achieve scale and a more significant presence in the P&E market, as well as expediting the IT strategy for the business,” 360 Underwriting Solutions Founder and MD Denis Morrissey said.
