Ms Orr says seven similar incidents of misleading statements were reported to ASIC this year by Allianz, but some other incidents were not.

Ms Callahan says this is because those other incidents were not considered to be similar, in that they were not false and misleading.

These included not applying discounts correctly, and website links going to the wrong product disclosure statements.
