The average recommended premium rate for WA compulsory workers’ compensation insurance next financial year will be 1.483% of total wages, down from 1.556%.

WorkCover WA CEO Michelle Reynolds says it is the lowest charge recorded in the state.

The rate will take effect at 4pm on June 30.
