WorkCover WA has announced an overall 3.9% rise in premium rates for compulsory workers’ compensation insurance next financial year.

The average recommended rate will be 1.585% of total wages, up from 1.525% this financial year.

Acting CEO Chris White says the increase will ensure the scheme is fully funded.
