A bushfire mitigation summit will be held in WA this month to discuss better strategies for managing the hazard.

Key stakeholders will gather in Mandurah on June 23.

“This summit is an important step in the state’s response to mitigating bushfires,” Emergency Services Minister Fran Logan said.

“There will be a lot of experience in the room and it’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved in fighting bushfires to discuss what they believe are the best ways to mitigate these devastating natural disasters.”
