The Finance Industry Council of Australia (FICA) met last week with ASIC and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) to discuss major challenges facing the financial services industry.

ASIC and APRA representatives discussed market volatility and responded to industry concern about appropriate levels of regulatory control.

FICA members include the Insurance Council of Australia and the Investment & Financial Services Association.
