Trowbridge reappointed
Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) Executive Member John Trowbridge has been reappointed for another year.
Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan announced the reappointment last week, saying he “greatly appreciates the significant contribution” Mr Trowbridge has made to APRA’s leadership team.
Mr Trowbridge founded actuarial and management consulting firm Trowbridge Consulting in 1981, and has extensive operational experience, including a period running Suncorp’s insurance operations. He has been a member of the three-person APRA “executive group” – the others are Chairman John Laker and Deputy Chairman Ross Jones – for three years.
