The NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) has extended the consultation period for a review of legal support for injured people accessing compulsory third party (CTP) insurance.

SIRA says the review has triggered a high level of interest and it is allowing an extra month for submissions that address concerns with existing arrangements, key principles that should govern legal costs and views on specific changes and possible alternative models.

Feedback is now due by 9pm on December 2, compared to the previous November 1 deadline, and can be made using an online form or through email.
