SIRA appoints new CEO
The NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) has appointed Adam Dent as its new CEO, starting July 5.
Mr Dent has extensive experience across public, private and not-for-profit organisations and joins SIRA from his current role as CEO of the NSW Trustee & Guardian.
“Having spent much of his career focused on helping people who are vulnerable or experiencing difficult times, Adam is a great fit for SIRA,” Chairman Trevor Matthews said.
Current CEO Carmel Donnelly is leaving to become Chair of the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal and her last day with SIRA is June 9.
Executive Director Strategy and Governance and Chief Customer Officer Theresa Fairman will be acting CEO in the intervening period before Mr Dent starts.
