Royal commission adds to counsel team

The royal commission on financial services has appointed Michael Hodge and Albert Dinelli as counsels assisting.

They join counsels Rowena Orr, Eloise Dias and Mark Costello, while Michael Borsky has withdrawn for personal reasons.

The first round of public hearings from March 13-23 in Melbourne will focus on credit products, including home mortgages, car finance and credit insurance related to home loans and credit cards.

Subjects and details for further hearings will be announced at later dates.
