Helen Rowell has been appointed a member of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. Her five-year term begins today.

The current EGM of the authority’s Supervisory Support Division, she joined the regulator in 2002 and is a former president of the Actuaries Institute of Australia.

Deputy Chairman Ross Jones is not seeking reappointment after a decade of service.

Ian Laughlin has taken over as Deputy Chairman.
