The new financial services reform regulations will be finalised by the Federal Treasury in the next few weeks. After that, ASIC will finalise key implementation publications. 

Under ASIC’s revised timetable, those policy publications that are critical for implementing the FSR legislation will be issued by December 1.  This will include the policy statements that enable the licensing of a financial services provider.
