Former World Bank MD Operations Graeme Wheeler will become Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) Governor in September.

The RBNZ is New Zealand’s insurance regulator and Mr Wheeler will steer it through the introduction of the new insurer licensing system.

Mr Wheeler, a New Zealander, has been running his own advisory business in the US since leaving the World Bank in 2010.
