The International Association of Insurance Supervisors has opened a consultation on the risk-based global insurance capital standard.

The standard will be applied to internationally active insurance groups as part of the association’s common supervision framework, or ComFrame.

Consultation is open until February 16, with the association seeking feedback on valuation, qualifying capital resources and how to determine the capital requirement.
