The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has published new reporting templates for insurers on its data collections webpage.

The RBNZ altered two templates and is urging insurers to use these current versions. There is no change to the information required to be reported.

Regular data returns are required from licensed New Zealand insurers to support the prudential supervision of the insurance sector by the RBNZ under the Insurance (Prudential Supervision) Act 2010.

The RBNZ says insurers should regularly check for any later version of the forms they are required to use.
