The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) has published updates to its insurer data collection program.

Guidance for filling in the insurer return and quarterly insurer survey has been revised, and further updates are expected in the coming months.

Requirements have also been finalised for tailored Lloyd’s versions of the forms.

Insurers are advised to check regularly for updates so the latest versions are used, and to comply with all requirements such as using the secure upload facility and Excel format.

“We encourage insurers to be proactive in discussing with the bank any issues they are facing in completing their returns, or questions of interpretation,” the RBNZ said.
