The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has appointed Richard Dean as Manager Insurance Oversight following the retirement last Friday of Pete Brady.

Mr Dean returns to primary insurance following earlier work developing insurance legislation and a three-year period managing the supervision of banks, financial market infrastructures and anti-money laundering efforts.
