The NSW Government has issued terms of reference for its review of the compulsory third-party pricing strategy.

It says it will examine ways to lower premiums, such as via regulation “that results in an equitable but not excessive profit margin for insurers”.

It will also look at improving supervision of insurers, how premiums are set between vehicle classes, how to promote price competition and how the scheme works to assist injured people.
