NSW sets up online hub to smooth disaster support
The NSW Government has set up an online hub that includes information from more than 17 state and federal agencies to help communities recovering from bushfires, floods and other natural disasters.
The Resilience NSW hub has been designed for use on mobile phones, tablets and computers and brings together information through one portal.
“When someone is experiencing the anguish of fire, flood or drought, reliable information should be at their fingertips rather than going down a rabbit hole of paperwork,” Minister for Customer Service and Digital Victor Dominello said.
The State Government also said last week that communities hit by the March storms and floods can still access personalised support through one-on-one appointments with Service NSW, following the closure of temporary Flood Recovery Centres.
