No surprises in new Victoria’s new ministry

Most members of Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu’s shadow ministry have continued in their roles as ministers in the new Victorian Parliament.

National Party leader Peter Ryan has become the Minister for Bushfire Response in the new coalition government.

The new Treasurer is Liberal Kim Wells, while Gordon Rich-Phillips becomes Assistant Treasurer. The new Minister for Finance in the Baillieu ministry will be Liberal Robert Clark.

Minister for the Environment and Climate Change will be Liberal Ryan Smith while Peter Walsh from the Nationals will be Minister for Water.

Liberal Michael O’Brien has become the Minister for Consumer Affairs and Andrew McIntosh is Minister for Crime Prevention.
