Ann Sherry has been appointed as the new chair for Safe Work Australia.

The Carnival Cruises CEO and former Westpac senior executive replaces Tom Phillips, who led the establishment of Safe Work Australia. 

Employment and Workplace Relations Minister Bill Shorten says Ms Sherry “brings a wealth of experience to work health and safety and workers’ compensation through many years as a leader in Australian business”.
