The Financial System Inquiry will hold public forums across the country this month to discuss its progress so far.

Chairman David Murray will attend each session, along with committee members.

The forums are open to anyone, with attendees invited to ask questions and raise issues for examination. They are in Perth on August 13, Melbourne on August 14, Brisbane on August 19 and Sydney on August 20.

Responses to the inquiry’s interim report are due by August 26. Final recommendations will be delivered to Treasury in November.
