Matcham resigns from Australian Reinsurance Pool Corp
David Matcham will step down as CEO of the Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) when his contract ends early in October.
He was appointed to manage the ARPC in 2010. The Government-owned corporation has grown to a $13 billion pool for reinsurance against terrorism risk to commercial buildings.
Mr Matcham had previously worked for 30 years in insurance. He joined Lumley in 1977, becoming MD in 1999 and CEO in 2003. He left the company in 2009.
Mr Matcham says he will continue his other corporate interests.
