Insurance employee charged over false claims allegations

A 56-year old Adelaide woman has been charged over false insurance claims totalling $335,000.

The woman, who has not been named, was employed by an insurance company and has been charged with 28 counts of dishonest dealing over 28 false claims submitted between 2010 and last year.

The claims were subsequently paid by an insurance company that has not been named by SA Police.

The woman has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates’ Court on March 22.
