Industry granted four-week extension to report data
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has given insurers a four-week extension to submit insurance data for the September and December quarters.
The changes mean the September quarter reporting date has been pushed back to November 27 and the December quarter to February 27 next year, the regulator says in a letter to industry.
“This letter outlines changes to the reporting due date for Australian Accounting Standards Board 17 Insurance contracts data collection reporting forms to be completed by the insurance industry that are required to report on a quarterly basis,” the letter says.
“The reporting extension applies only to the reporting forms that are due to be submitted via APRA Connect.”
