Insurance & Care NSW (icare) has renamed its government agencies self-insurance service, as it proceeds with a three-year strategy to improve its offering.

The Insurance for NSW – or IfNSW – rebrand is among changes that aim to deliver improved premiums and risk advice to state government agencies. The group says it will offer better technology tools, greater transparency and an enhanced general lines claims experience.

“There is an enormous opportunity for Insurance for NSW to deliver greater value to government agencies by providing a comprehensive view of emerging risk, building direct relationships with our customers and further strengthening our claims operating model,” Insurance for NSW Group Executive Tim Plant said.
