Not only is Joe Hockey likely to get the FSRB – soon to be known as the Financial Services Reform Act – through Parliament on schedule, he is also likely to meet his own October 1 implementation deadline.  

Although many industry observers – including us – have previously cast doubt on the Minister’s ability to ram the legislation through to meet the deadline, experts say it is still possible if the Bill has a relatively easy passage through the Senate.
