The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has appointed Renee Roberts as Executive Director of its Policy and Advice Division.

Ms Roberts was formerly QBE Insurance COO from June 2018 until last January, according to her LinkedIn account.

“Her background across a diverse range of roles in Australia and overseas, as well as her experience in risk management, strategy and governance, make her well qualified to lead the [division], as well as contribute to APRA’s functions and activities more broadly,” Chairman Wayne Byres said.

She will start on May 4.
