New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) has appointed former IAG executive Leona Murphy to its board.

Ms Murphy was chief strategy officer and chief transformation officer at IAG, before leaving in December 2015.

ACC Minister Michael Woodhouse says she will “bring valuable skills” during her three-year term.

“She has a strong background in large-scale business transformation, digital IT and insurance claims management,” he said.
