Former AMP boss joins financial services inquiry
Former AMP CEO Craig Dunn has been appointed to the Federal Government’s financial services inquiry.
He joins University of Melbourne Professor of Finance Kevin Davis, ex-Schroders Australia investment banker Carolyn Hewson and former CSL CEO Brian McNamee on the panel.
Former Commonwealth Bank CEO David Murray will lead the inquiry.
The terms of reference include the cost, quality, safety and availability of financial services, products and capital.
The inquiry will also examine competition, stability, innovation, efficiency and consumer protection in the financial services industry, plus capital sources and corporate governance.
The panel will publish an interim report midyear, with a final document due to the Treasurer in November.
