Feedback for icare review sought by month-end
Submissions and survey responses on the performance of NSW state insurer icare are due by the end of the month as part of an independent review announced by the Government.
Retired Supreme Court judge Robert McDougall is scheduled to deliver a report by April 30, with the terms of reference including an examination of icare’s operations and culture as well as a review of related legislation.
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has urged members to participate in the online survey, which asks about icare claims handling, payment of benefits, communication, culture and areas for improvement.
“NIBA will be making a submission to the review on behalf of brokers, however we encourage members to complete the short survey found on the review page,” CEO Dallas Booth said.
The survey and more details about the review are available here.
