The Federal Government has invited individuals, businesses and community groups to provide viewpoints on priorities for next year’s federal budget.   

“The Government places significant importance on receiving submissions in developing its budget policies as it is vital that policy development is informed by as wide a range of views as possible,” it said.  

Next year’s budget is due to be delivered on May 14, in line with the traditional “Second Tuesday in May” timeline.  

Submissions will be open until January 25 next year and can be delivered electronically or by post.
