D’Aloisio joins ASIC front line
Former Australian Stock Exchange MD Tony D’Aloisio has taken up his position as a commissioner at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. He officially began his three-year tenure on November 22.
Treasurer Peter Costello says he is confident Mr D’Aloisio will be able to fulfill his duties competently and without fear or favour.
“(He) has been involved in business policy and regulation for over 30 years and he is well qualified to fill this position,” he said when the appointment was announced.
