This year’s Global Terrorism Risk Insurance Conference will take place in Canberra on October 6-7.

Heads of national terrorism reinsurance schemes, international experts and insurance industry representatives will gather for the event, held every two years.

Discussion topics will include threat levels, the evolution of terrorism, leading research and terrorism insurance pricing.

The role of government and retrocession will also be considered.

Previous events have been held in Paris and Washington.
