Canberra grant boosts cyber research
The Federal Government will provide $50 million over the next seven years to establish the Cyber Security Co-operative Research Centre.
The investment will focus on building up the country’s cyber security capability and also devise solutions.
“This investment will contribute to Australia’s reputation as a secure and trusted place to do business,” Industry, Innovation and Science Assistant Minister Craig Laundy said.
“[It] will give the Australian community confidence they are safe and secure as they conduct their business online.”
