Bushfire hearing applications close on April 9
People interested in appearing before the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission must lodge an application by Thursday.
The royal commission has announced it must receive written notice from individuals or organisations by 4pm on April 9.
Applications must be limited to three pages and include terms of reference under which the applicant claims an interest, as well as reasons why leave to appear should be granted.
Written submissions from interested individuals or organisations will be accepted up to 4pm on May 18. Royal Commissioner Justice Bernard Teague may invite further submissions “around specific areas of interest” at a later date.
