ASIC places permanent ban on adviser
ASIC has permanently banned Townsville adviser Neil Francis Dodd from providing financial services citing his misuse of client funds.
The regulator launched an investigation into Mr Dodd’s conduct last year. Two companies associated with Mr Dodd were later wound up.
In 2007, ASIC revoked Mr Dodd’s right to work as an authorised representative for LFG Financial Services for failing to comply with the provisions of that firm’s Australian financial services licence.
Mr Dodd has the right to appeal to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for a review of the decision.
