The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has cancelled the Australian financial services licence of Sydney-based Australian Performance Financial Planning, which had an external administrator appointed in February.

The company provided financial advice to self-managed super funds, plus income protection and life insurance.

ASIC suspended its licence in April and the administrator sold the financial planning business that month.
