ASIC’s Tasmanian Regional Commissioner, Simon Dwyer, in transferring to Adelaide as the SA Regional Commissioner. He is replacing Karen Axford, who will be going on maternity leave shortly.

ASIC Chairman David Knott said Mr Dwyer brings “great strengths” to ASIC, with a strong legal, accounting, management and auditing background. Apart from his SA duties, Mr Dwyer will also manage ASIC’s electronic enforcement activity and its new project management office.

A new Regional Commissioner for Tasmania will be appointed within the next few weeks.
