Jennifer O’Donnell has been appointed as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission's (ASIC) NSW Regional Commissioner. Ms O’Donnell joined the then Australian Securities Commission in 1991 and was recently promoted to Deputy Executive Director of the Policy and Markets Regulation Directorate.

ASIC’s previous NSW Regional Commissioner, Peter Kell, was appointed CEO of the Australian Consumers’ Association in March and Ms O’Donnell has been acting in the regional position since then. Her term is for three years.
