The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation has announced three leadership appointments, including senior insurance executive John Park as CFO.

Mr Park, who starts on June 1, is currently Financial Controller of Great Lakes Australia, part of the Munich Re group.

The chartered accountant’s previous roles include CFO of Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation and company secretary at General Re.

Former director of financial markets regulatory change at Westpac Institutional Bank Joshua Everson has been appointed GM Governance, Risk and Compliance.

Mr Everson has previously been a policy adviser and compliance professional for the Australian Securities Exchange, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Federal Treasury. He takes up his role on May 5.

Alison Savary has been appointed Manager Finance. She was previously head of Crown entity finance at the NSW Treasury.

She has also held finance roles with the federal Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development and the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre.
