APRA warns super trustees
Superannuation trustees who haven’t lodged their annual returns yet had better watch out. APRA is warning that it will go after superannuation trustees who have failed to lodge their 2000/2001 annual returns.
It is already undertaking prosecutions against trustees of superannuation entities, who despite frequent requests, failed to lodge their returns. APRA’s crackdown follows strict new rules which make lodgement of annual returns compulsory for every superannuation entity.
