APRA announces 2008 scholarships
APRA has awarded two $12,500 student scholarships under the Brian Gray Scholarship Program.
The winners are Lyn McDougall from Queensland University of Technology and Callum Jones from the University of Western Australia.
The winners demonstrated interest and academic ability in subjects relevant to prudential regulation. They will now contribute to an agreed research topic under the terms of the program.
The award was established in 2002 in memory of Brian Gray, a former APRA Executive General Manager for policy, research and consulting.
APRA awards up to four scholarships in his name annually.
