Tim Pallas has taken over as Treasurer of Victoria following Labor’s state election victory.

Mr Pallas is MP for Werribee and served as minister for roads and ports and minister for major projects under the last Labor government.

Preston MP Robin Scott is the new Finance Minister, while the Minister for Emergency Services is Brunswick’s Jane Garrett.

Nine out of the 22 state ministers are women, and Premier Daniel Andrews has declared his cabinet the most diverse in the country.
