The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has released Version 6 of eLicensing and the AFS Licensing Kit. It has also reissued Pro Forma 209 Australian financial services licence conditions.

The new version went online on September 30, so anyone making an online AFS licence application after that date has been using it.

However, those who have begun an application using Version 5 must complete it by October 30, when a new application must be started using Version 6.

Those using Version 5 may need to use the latest version if they require any of the new authorisations it offers.
