AFCA to host member forum
Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) Chief Ombudsman and CEO David Locke will provide an update on major projects and initiatives underway at a two-day virtual forum this week.
The member forum begins on Wednesday with an online plenary session, followed by first-day updates on banking and finance, small business, and investments and advice.
On Thursday the general insurance session will begin at 1pm, followed by life insurance at 2pm. The superannuation session will be held at 11am.
The sessions will include case studies and time for questions and answers with AFCA ombudsmen.
This year’s forum also includes an accessibility and inclusion panel discussion on Thursday at midday, facilitated by AFCA Senior Ombudsman Brenda Staggs.
